Our client, a Speciality Label Printer in Carmel, needs a Finisher to join their growing team. The position will start as a part-time position with the expectation that as business grows and our associate demonstrates the appropriate performance and quality, the position will become full time. There also are opportunities for promotion for the right person.
The Finisher combines printed label sheets into finished bundles for distribution. He/she distributes label sheets into the correct bins. Each bin has an individual store number for a specific company. It is very important the label sheets are separated and placed in the bin of the correct store number as well as in the correct order. Once the sorting is completed, the sorter wheels the cart of labels over to the shrink wrap workstation.
At the shrink wrap workstation our associate pulls a stack from a bin, straightens the label sheets, places the stack in the plastic shrink wrap machine, and then seals the labels in bundles by store. The bundles are boxed in the sequential order the Delivery Driver will need to perform his job smoothly once he reaches the Company's Distribution Center.
It is expected that our associate will safely operate the machine(s) to avoid injury to him / herself or damage to the equipment. He / she also will maintain information regarding the print finishing process and provide reports on as needed basis.
Accuracy and quality are critical as errors are costly and not tolerated. Ideal candidates will be able to multi-task and prioritize as job activities will vary. They will learn quickly, have a positive attitude, be punctual and be dependable. 1-2 years of related experience is preferred. Other desired characteristics:

Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience welding. Certification desirable. Accuracy and quality are critical as errors are costly and not tolerated. Ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and prioritize as job activities will vary. He/she will have experience working with lighter gauges of metal. Also, he/she will learn quickly and be comfortable asking for assistance as they learn the company's processes and systems. At the same time, it is expected that once a task is mastered, minimal training will be required. A positive attitude, and a history of punctuality and dependability will be given top consideration.
